The Bontanist – West Bridgford

Hey you gorgeous lot!

Who is ready for another blog post?! I admit, it has been a while, but I am back for good now! So, who is ready to see the absolutely gorgeous Bontastist we visited in Nottingham? If you love everything botanical, green and love vintage goodness, you’re in for an absolute treat!

So, I was hearing a lot of noise about this freshly opened Botanist restaurant in West Bridgford. Not knowing a lot about it other than amazing pictures from the gorgeous cocktails they make, I decided to go and check it out for myself. Fair to say, the second I walked in, It was amazing. Admittedly we was there before it opened (By accident!) so it was super quiet, but it gave us the perfect opportunity to go and have an explore!

We set our bags down in 2 super comfy vintage leather armchairs while we went for a wander. It’s a instagrammers dream location, for sure, all the vintage farm crates, the amazing light chandelier with so many lights all clumped together was the show stopping piece, the farm benches, with the whole restaurant surrounded by beautiful tropical plants, you felt at home straight away.

For drinks we played it pretty safe and just went for teas and coffees (It was like 10:30am.. too early for cocktails?) which was brought to us, also in beautiful vintage crockery showing a beautiful touch to all the details throughout. even though we played it safe with our drinks, we will certainly be coming back soon to get cocktails and food in the summer!

Of course in true blogger and photographer style, once we got here, I just had to get some sneaky shots in the stunning setting. With it being so empty, I knew it wasn’t going to last long, so I just had to take advantage. Here are some gorgeous snaps, of my wanna-be house, and I hope you love it just as much as we do!
